The letters CSP following a speaker's name indicate a speaking professional with proven experience who understands what is required and knows how to deliver client satisfaction.

Why hire a CSP to speak for your meeting? A CSP brings a proven track record of continuing speaking experience and expertise. CSP's are committed to ongoing education, outstanding service, and ethical behavior. Only you can determine which speaker best fits your needs. A CSP provides a solid place from which to begin your search.
What are the criteria for the CSP?
- Present a minimum of 250 professional speaking engagements within a 5--year period.
- Serve a minimum of 100 different clients within the same 5-year period.
- Receive excellent ratings from clients on professional performance evaluations.
- Submit testimonial letters from clients served.
- Maintain NSA membership and subscribe to the Code of Ethics.
- Continue education in the speaking profession.
How many CSP's are there? Fewer than 7% of the 5,000 members of the International Federation for Professional Speakers hold this professional designation. The IFPS is comprised of professional speaking associations worldwide. CSP is the international standard that all IFPS associations have agreed upon to represent distinctive competence in the speaking profession.
